TENNIS
Campers
who are Beaver level or higher have tennis lessons and/or free
play every day |
ARCHERY

The camp archery range is equipped with high quality bows
and arrows. Campers are able to learn real archery skills under the
supervision and coaching of our certified archery counselors. (State

ARTS AND CRAFTS

Arts and crafts projects ranging from sidewalk
pastels to basket making are in progress during
every session of the summer.

CAMPCRAFT

"Outdoor" skills such as safe fire
building, knot tying, shelter building, and compass usage are
taught daily. |

GOLF

The Eagle Feather golf
range is equipped with clubs of all sizes and varieties.
Campers who are Beaver level or greater receive instruction and
free hitting time every other day. Occasionally the entire
camp becomes a golf course during the Eagle Feather Open. |
SWIMMING

Campers
receive swimming lessons from the staff of The School of
Swimming under the direction of Susan BeVier. The camp
instruction program is the Swim School Standard Program
with the
exception that Chipmunks through Beavers receive (10) 45 min.
lessons, and Eagles, Bears, and Foxes receive (5) on hour
lessons per camp session.

Soccer

Coaching,
drills, scrimmage, all camp tournaments , free play and practice, keep the camp
soccer field busy all day long. Soccer is a camp-wide
activity that is a favorite of many campers. |
Drama

Campers
who enjoy theater, and theater arts, get ample opportunity to
try their hand at acting, writing, set painting, etc.. Group
skits are presented at each
campfire
ceremony.

Wings
Over Hartford Garden
Eagle
Feather campers may choose to help out in the Wings Over
Hartford Garden. The garden produces vegetables that are
distributed to needy families in the Hartford area. |

Sloyd
At
Sloyd campers learn elementary woodcraft. Projects such as
bird houses, rocking horses, model airplanes, and benches are
worked on daily. |
